Shelly Stuckman is a graphic designer and photographer, specializing in multimedia marketing. She is currently based in New Jersey.
While growing up, Shelly was always drawn to art and fashion. Enrolling in art courses at a very young age, she continuously gained the attention of her art instructors. In middle school, Shelly won her first blue ribbon at the county fair for an impressionistic, oil pastel piece. Her art teacher at the time recommended to the local high school to place Shelly in a more advanced art course. Continuing to refine her skills and designing fashion, she knew what she wanted–to work in the fashion industry.
After high school, Shelly started her fashion blog, Arizona Girl (arizonagirl.com). She was able to incorporate her love of clothing and digital art into her website. Her interest to self-brand and design her blog from scratch was what brought her to discover her passion for graphic design and marketing.
In 2013, Shelly began studying graphic design at Yavapai College. While excelling in her courses, she continued blogging and has now collaborated with hundreds of companies, including Free People, Teen Vogue, People’s Choice, GUESS, and Charlotte Russe. Shelly has also been featured in Marie Claire magazine and on seventeen.com (Seventeen magazine’s website). She was awarded the Yavapai College 2015 Outstanding Student in Art award and has won numerous prestigious blogging awards for her efforts all while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. One of her favorite fashion projects included being flown to Miami, Florida, to style and model for Adidas NEO Label’s spring/summer 2015 campaign.
After receiving her AAS in graphic design, Shelly attended NAU and graduated with a 4.0 in 2017 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts, majoring in visual communications with an emphasis of graphic design. Shelly hopes to create more beauty in the world through design and creativity. She is currently working as a freelance graphic designer and photographer.
I am a graphic designer and photographer. I gain inspiration from all things around me including the beauty of nature, pop culture in the media, and rhythm of music. I am drawn to graphic design because it is not only fascinating and challenging, but also the way of the future. I enjoy working with my clients to make their vision come to life.
